- If pet sitter is required to employ a locksmith to enter client's premises due to malfunction of the lock or a failure of the client to leave a key or the wrong key was left, it shall be the responsibility of the Client to pay locksmith or reimburse Head to Tail for all costs incurred to enter the home. The client expressly gives Head to Tail the authority to employ a locksmith on the clients’ behalf in case of the aforementioned.
- Any additional visits made, or services performed shall be paid for at the agreed contract rate and shall be billed and paid immediately. Any outstanding invoiced extra visits or services not paid ASAP or within 24-48 hours (about 2 days) will incur a late fee which the client agrees to pay.
- Pet Sitter is authorized to perform care and services as outlined in this contract. Client agrees to reimburse Pet Sitter/Head to Tail for expenses incurred, plus any additional fees for attending to this need or any expenses incurred for any other home/food/supplies needed. Any fees incurred due to extra visits or services not paid for promptly upon return will incur a finance charge of 8% per day and will be added to the balance due.
- A handling fee of $45 will be charged on all returned checks. Full payment is required on all pet sitting assignments. In the event it is necessary to initiate collection proceedings on the account, Client will be responsible for all attorneys’ fees and costs of collection including court fees.
- Client authorizes this signed contract to be valid approval for future services of any purpose provided by this contract allowing Head to Tail to accept telephone/text/email/PM/Dm reservations for service and enter premises without additional signed contract or written authorization.
- All pets are to be currently vaccinated. Should the Pet Sitter be injured, it will be the Clients responsibility to pay all costs and damages incurred by the Pet Sitter/Head to Tail/Victim.
- Pet Sitter/Head to Tail reserves the right to terminate this contract at any time before or during its term if Pet Sitter/Head to Tail, in its sole discretion, decides that Clients pet(s) or home poses a danger to the health or safety of Pet Sitter.
- In case of inclement weather or natural disaster or pandemic, Pet Sitter/Head to Tail is entrusted to use best judgment in caring for pets and home.
- In the event of a pandemic happening after Client has booked and paid for services, Head to Tail will keep payment on file as credit for future use. Refund policy applies.
- All reservations are required to be paid in advance at the time of booking.
- Reservations will not be penciled into schedule until paid in full in advance.
- If client calls, emails or texts for reservations and does not pay within 24 hours, Head to Tail reserves the right to cancel said reservation without notice to Client.
- Head to Tail does not give cash refunds. Refunds are in the form of credit applied to your account.
- Thanksgiving, Spring Break, Christmas, and New Year's must be paid in advance, and no refund no credit if cancelled.
- Head to Tail will pay for re-keying only when Pet Sitter has lost the key.
Client agrees to notify Pet Sitter/Head to Tail of any concerns within 12 hours of return home if on Vacation or 3 hours after midday dog walking.
Terms, rates, and conditions subject to change without notice to clients.
Visit times may vary depending on weather and pets of clients going to the bathroom. A window of 1-2 hours of time scheduled. By signing this contract, you agree to all terms and conditions on all pages. For Midday Clients: if it is storming, we will let out in the yard unless client or family is home, then we reserve the right to cancel with credit.
Head to Tail will not force a dog to walk that does not want to be walked.
First M & G is free thereafter each extra M & G will incur a fee of regular rate price.
Refund/Credit Policy
Refunds are in the form of credit applied to your account. If a client cancels for any reason after paying in full Head to Tail will apply credit to your account until the next time you book. Be it 1 week or 10 years. Mid-Day Clients must give 24 hours' notice for credit Monday through Friday. Vacation clients see contract rules. Mid-day clients for Monday cancel please contact by Friday 4 pm.
